PLUS Pride Takes Home 28 Medals at Winter Games

Twenty-eight Medals were won by The PLUS Company’s Special Olympics Team, PLUS Pride, at the 33rd annual New Hampshire Special Olympics Winter Games.  Twelve PLUS Pride athletes competed in the snowshoeing and cross country skiing events at Waterville Valley on March 1st and 2nd.

Cheered on by PLUS Board President Joe Marshall and several PLUS Company staff members and volunteers, the athletes went for the gold in events ranging from a distance of 50 meters to 5 kilometers.  At the finish line, PLUS Pride athletes came out victorious, taking home a total of 28 gold, silver and bronze medals.
