PLUS Pride Softball Wins Medals at Softball Tournament

46 PLUS Pride athletes competed at  the Special Olympics of New Hampshire State Unified Softball Tournament in Keene, bringing home a gold medal, a silver medal, and a fourth place ribbon.  This special unified team consisted of both PLUS Pride Special Olympics athletes and “Partners”, or those members of the team without disabilities. The athletes played  in a day long competition  under the leadership of coaches Shawna and Jeff Sousa and Bob Cousens, which ended with a single-elimination gold medal round.  The PLUS Company would like to congratulate all of the athletes for their hard work and dedication to the sport!
