We offer residential and independent living supports, vocational programming, and adult education.

What kind of funding is available for services?
For those individuals residing in New Hampshire, funding is available through your local Area Agency. Individuals must be found eligible by the Area Agency. To be eligible for Area Agency services an individual must have a developmental disability or acquired brain disorder. For those individuals residing in Massachusetts, funding is available through the Department of Developmental Services. Individuals must meet the Department of Developmental Services eligibility requirements.

Do you accept private pay?
Private pay is accepted.

Does The PLUS Company provide transportation?
The PLUS Company can provide transportation to and from its programs and activities. Transportation is an ancillary service not a stand alone service.

Are there any weekend activities at The PLUS Company?
Yes, we offer a variety of weekend classes such as scrap-booking and cooking, movie nights, and monthly Bingo.

Can The PLUS Company help me find jobs?
Yes, PLUS Company job developers help match your interests and abilities with the needs of the business community. We also offer job placement services and supported employment.

PLUS in Massachusetts
The PLUS Company of Massachusetts is the leading provider of programs and services for people with disabilities in the Lowell and Merrimack Valley Area. With offices in Tewksbury and Lawrence, the programs offered in this region provide a broad spectrum of services to meet the needs of those served. Individuals learn through hands-on experiences, training programs, job sites, and vocational, and community integration programs. The goal is to ensure that those served by The PLUS Company have the opportunity to reach their full potential and become vital, productive members of their communities.
Transition Services
The move from high school to adult life can be difficult for many individuals with disabilities. The PLUS Company seeks to ease that transition through cutting-edge, innovative programming, including an after school program focusing on the skills necessary to find and keep employment, summer camps that allow for exploration of social and self-advocacy skills, school-to-work programs, and a teen group that assists with relationship building.
