Whether through work, life or play, The PLUS Company is dedicated to providing support and services that allow individuals with disabilities to maximize their independence and become productive members of their communities. With a variety of services, including residential, vocational, educational, and social programming, The PLUS Company recognizes the importance of providing a structured and supportive environment to increase skills, explore interests, and develop a network of support that will help individuals reach their goals. By working closely with the individual, family, service coordinators, and others The PLUS Company ensures that services are individualized and encompass everything from youth transition, to residential services, to employment supports and adult education.
In addition to existing services, The PLUS Company strives for innovation in new programs and projects. This includes after school programs that allow students with disabilities to explore the world of work, a summer camp for individuals with disabilities age 16 and up, new ventures with businesses to increase employment opportunities, and spear-heading the development of new school-to-work programs, such as St. Joseph Hospital Project SEARCH. The PLUS Company also seeks to remain a vital part of the community, maintaining close connections with other nonprofits, agencies, and companies to the benefit of the individuals served.
